Kimberly Louvin, LCSW, LSSW
Welcome to my online presence.
I am a private practice mental health therapist, clinical social worker, and school social worker.
I also teach yin yoga and enjoy writing, sharing stories, and showcasing the ways the Unbroken Circle of my life has shaped me through the waves, mountaintops, and pages between into this moment.
I believe we must be vulnerable with ourselves if we are asking others to be vulnerable with us.
Whether you are a client of mine in mental health therapy, a student I work with in a local school, reading the words I write in captions (and eventually a book), or attend a yoga class as a student, my offerings are highly relational.
My practices are rooted in a combination of my experience, science, and a desire to craft healthier communities and relationships through vulnerability.

Mental Health Therapy
I offer clinical support as a Licensed Clinical & School Social Worker to clients in Oregon and Florida in 30-90 minute sessions for $100-300 (sliding scale rates available).
My focus areas are neurodivergence (autism & adhd), teens & young adults, anxiety, burnout, spiritual evolution, and trauma healing. You can read more about my approach to therapy here.
I also offer mental health consultation to families, friends, partners, and coworkers of loved ones looking to find ways to support those they love and cherish to help you find resources and support while you support others.
If someone you care about is going through something and you don’t know how to support them and want advice from a Licensed Mental Health Professional, let’s talk. I want to help.
Yin and Restorative Yoga
Our mind and body are an unbroken circle. All of our experiences leave a mark on our nervous system. I offer recorded and live yin and restorative yoga classes focused on this interplay and helping you come back into your physical and emotional experience through intentional movement, breath, and pause.
Yin Yoga can be a powerful tool to supplement any healing practice as we may not often want to talk through our experiences, but we must move and breathe through them to survive.
I have used Yin Yoga as a trauma healing tool personally and professionally and offer custom and private classes by request. I have over 50 recorded classes freely available via YouTube.
Consultation & Acute Crisis Support
I offer virtual and phone consultation about topics and areas I have knowledge and experience in such as neurodivergence, school social work, and how communities and systems can better support their members, employees, and teams.
I offer consultation because I truly believe we are all in this together. I know things and have experiences you don’t have and vice versa. Together, we can craft a healthier tomorrow.
My background includes working with multidisciplinary teams to navigate conflict and best support clients as well as supporting teams by offering group and individual support after an acute crisis such as a death or community tragedy.
I am happy to talk with you more about this if you’d like to work together or connect with me about how I could help you or your team.

About Me
I am most fulfilled when I am able to support others in riding the waves of life and offer encouragement, wisdom, and a toolbox my clients and students can take into their future adventures.
What lights me up most is witnessing someone find themselves, their dreams, and helping those dreams manifest into reality.
I grew up up in the Evangelical South of Tennessee and the Carolinas. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for a decade and truly enjoy living in the land of Evergreens while visiting my family in the South as often as life allows for Nashville Hot Chicken and watching the fireflies on the porch.
My grandfather was a country music legend (Louvin Brothers).
I met Dolly Parton when I was middle school. Taylor Swift attended my high school.
I started college as an engineering and business major until I learned about Psychology. I immediately fell in love with the study of people and the interactions within systems: our inner landscape, work, home, school, and relationships.
I spent the next decade working in nonprofits, Christian ministry, schools, and with families in the community in North Carolina and ultimately the Pacific Northwest.
I have worked mostly with teens and young adults, families of children starting Kindergarten and spent several years working at a University to support young adults as they spread their wings and learn to surf.
Through this work, I discovered a love for getting to know people deeply and helping them see and realize their dreams - while understanding the confines and birthrights of their environments and stories.
This led me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus on Community Settings and a specialization in School Social Work with the coursework to also pursue Clinical License in the future.
I have woven the reason engineering appealed to me into the field of mental health by crafting a business of offering my skills as a therapist, a social worker, a yoga teacher, a writer, and human to bring you Unbroken Circles.
My heart for engineering and social work began with exceptional skills in logic based classes, but a passion for a psychology elective. This led me to build an online business crafted of Mental Health Therapy, Yoga, and Writing to help you feel understood, seen, and supported as you find your dreams and ride the waves.
Choose your own adventure.
