I get it.
Talking to a stranger about your business is awkward - at first.
I offer Mental health therapy for real life.
Want help sorting through and labeling your emotions?
Need a space to feel heard, seen, and supported?
I’m here for you.
Focusing on support for burnout, anxiety, trauma, adult autism assessment & integration, deconstruction/spiritual evolution, and helping you navigate your relationships with others.
Services available to individuals, friend groups, families, and educators across Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, and Florida.
Let me ask you a few questions.
Are you feeling some type of way?
Do you miss feeling some other type of way?
Have you considered therapy, but have no idea where to start, what to talk about, or feel like there’s so much to discuss that it would be hard for anyone to follow?
Maybe you thought needing to talk to someone meant something was wrong with you or that you were broken.
Maybe you have even thought therapy was for people who didn’t try hard enough to figure it out on their own.
Me too.
Let me let you in on a little secret…
therapists go to therapy, doctors go to doctors, athletes have personal trainers…
Asking for support isn’t a sign of weakness; accepting support is a sign of strength.
As it turns out, therapy is for humans who want to talk to another human about their life while figuring out what’s next, what happened, and why this isn’t as easy as we hoped it would be.
Let me ask you a few MORE questions.
Are you a teenager or young adult trying to figure out who you are, what to do with your life, and how to recalibrate after online school?
Have you lost your focus or joy after something big happened in your life or to you?
Do you struggle to feel like you can be your true self at work? at school? with loved ones?
Do you live for the weekends and holidays or find yourself going through the motions while knowing there’s got to be a better way to stay in a job you love without feeling this way ALL the time?
Have you had a major shift in your perspective on life or spirituality in the last 10 years and struggle to integrate this into your story?
Have you talked to your friends, family, and loved ones about how you feel, but aren’t really sure things are getting any better and you need a new perspective from someone who might have some advice?
It’s okay to ask for help.
It’s hard because it’s hard, not because you’re weak.
Want to talk?
Let’s chat about what you’re looking for and see if I can help you navigate the waves of life a little less alone.
Book a free 15-20 minute consultation to learn more about therapy, me, and get answers to any questions you have before requesting an official therapy appointment.
If you’ve experienced something and need another human to sit with you and listen to your story, the new thoughts or behaviors you now have afterwards, or the things you miss about yourself or your life from before, that’s therapy.
Specialties & Areas of Focus
it’s okay not to be okay. it’s okay to be weird. it’s okay to be YOU.
Hi, I’m Kimberly (she/her), a therapist who’s also a school social worker who loves working with teens, families, and young adults who are hesitant to try therapy because talking about feelings with strangers is brand new or uncomfortable to you.
Many of us grew up not thinking much about how we felt emotionally.
We weren’t taught language around mental health and “therapy” was for other people.
We only knew a handful of words to describe our feelings.
We certainly never knew our physical experience is related to our emotional one, and vice versa.
It turns out, the Body Keeps the Score and deep breaths really do help.
What we don't need in the midst of struggle is shame for being human.
